Homemade Laundry Starch

OK I have never been the one to just love ironing. In fact I even wet my family"s clean clothes and throw them back into the dryer to knock the wrinkles out. But when I absolutely have to iron I use a homemade spray starch to make ironing a whole lot easier and faster. I prefer the homemade starch because it is all natural, works just as good as the store bought stuff, AND I can make it for just pennies.

What You Need

1. Clean spray bottle

2. 2 cups cold water

3. 1 heaping tablespoon cornSTARCH

Directions: Pour cold water and cornstarch into spray bottle, and shake until combined well.

Tip: Shake bottle before each set of sprays you do.

My weight gain challenge.

I have been struggling to gain weight for years. So I am now challenging myself to do so. I am going to do a 30 day challenge. My goal for the 30 days is to get in at least 3,000 calories a day. I have came up with a recipe that really works for me, and not only will it help me take in my 3,000 calories a day bu it will get me WAY over that if take in 2 shakes a day plus my regular 3 meals. (breakfast lunch and dinner) I am skipping my usual snacks and dessert and replacing those with my weight gain shake. But you do it however u like.

Weight Gain Shake
Ingredients
  • 2 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 PASTEURIZED eggs OR protein powder
  • 4 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil OR flax seed oil
  • 1 banana
  • 1/4 cup of sugar

Mix it in a blender for about 30 seconds.

This recipe is defiantly not be for everyone. It all just depends on your needs. And me personally i could use the extra fat from this recipe. Plus its a whopping 1,923 calories.

Homemade baby wipes and solution

A few weeks ago i bought some very cheap baby wipes. I got home thinking wow those were a steal. Until I tried out the first wipe. Man oh man were they dry. I had 2 use double the amound of wipes i would normally use when i bought the Huggies brand wipes. So i searched the internet for hours looking for a way to moisten these bad boys up. And i came across many baby wipes solution recipes. Heres the recipe for the one i liked the most.

What you need:

  • 1 tablespoon baby oil
  • 1 tablespoon baby shampoo or wash. (I used shampoo)
  • 1 cup of water
  • store bought or homemade baby wipes                     (Scroll to bottom for homemade baby wipes ideas)
  • Wipes container

Whisk together baby shampoo or wash, baby oil, and water.

Pour half of solution onto bottom of wipes container.

Add wipes and pour other half of solution on top of wipes.

Then ta dah   super moist baby wipes. plus for the money i think buying cheap wipes is worth it.

Making baby wipes is very simple to. Some people use a roll of paper towels, and others use things such as receiving blankets or old 2 shirts cut into squares. You can even make them look neat by sewing the edges with a serger. With the fabric wipes use and wash with your cloth diapers.
